Marcus J. Paige

Marcus J. Paige is a Southern California-born singer and actor whose performance skills have been described as "arrestingly powerful", and "enchantingly resonant - both nimble in voice and memorable physicality." With an educational background in Vocal Performance from both Chapman University's Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, his versatile vocal prowess has created many opportunities in the fields of opera, recital, concert, musical theatre, commercial music and straight plays. Mr. Paige has performed leading roles with many companies of note including, Virginia Musical Theatre, Berlin Opera Academy, the New Conservatory Theatre Center, Festival Opera, and Shea's Performing Arts Center in New York. His most cherished stage experiences include ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (Agwe), and THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS (Haywood). A winner in the Mirabel Schloß concert series competition in Salzburg, Austria, his international credits include ARIADNE AUF NAXOS (Brighella & Tanzmeister), and DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE (Monostatos) in Berlin, Germany. Other regional credits include, THE FULL MONTY (Horse), THE LAST FIVE YEARS (Jamie), Arthur Sullivan's COX & BOX (James Cox), Benjamin Britten's THE RAPE OF LUCRETIA (Male Chorus), and the play, DOT (Donnie) written by Colman Domingo.
