Andrew Gregory

Andrew Gregory is a British journalist, writer, producer, director, and photographer, and the health editor of The Guardian. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Royal Statistical Society prize for investigative journalism, three British Press Awards, a British Journalism Award, a Medical Journalists' Association Award, and a Guild of Health Writers Award. In 2026, Gregory produced "Small Hours," an animated short film about alcohol addiction which screened at Oscar®, BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying festivals, earned a nomination for Best Animated Short Film at Raindance Film Festival, and won Best Animated Short Film at Chester Animation Festival.
