Sofia Angst

Sofia is a transfeminine audiovisual artist who researches failure in three instances: the body, image and gender. Through real-time image manipulations, using camera devices such as webcams and digital microscopes, the artist seeks to break away from the harmonic clarity of human forms and delve into embodied cybernetic abstractions. Her experimental short "Trivakra" was selected to the 55° International Film Festival of Rotterdam.
