Mai Ishiguro

Mai Ishiguro (石黒 麻衣, Ishiguro Mai, born in 1979) is a Japanese actress, playwright, and stage director from Ibaraki Prefecture. She leads the theatre company Gekidan Futsū, known for its conversational realism and its focus on everyday communication. Her work blends acting, writing, and directing, often exploring family dynamics and subtle interpersonal tensions. Represented by FMG, she is active across theatre, film, and television.
