Stacey Ghent

Stacey is a deaf actress and musician, born and raised in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, who is now based in London. Having been a talented musician and singer from a very young age, Stacey now works predominantly in theatre as an actor, musician (trumpet/ flugelhorn/percussion/singer), and actor-musician. More recently, Stacey appeared in ‘Blonde Bombshells of 1943’, produced by Bolton Octagon, Theatre by the Lake Keswick, and Stephen Joseph Theatre (2023), Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's 'When the Long Trick's Over', produced by New Wolsey Theatre and HighTide Theatre Company (2022), ‘We Are The Best’ for Live Theatre, Newcastle upon Tyne (2022), and ‘Coronation Street’ for ITV (April 2020). She has also worked as a Voice Over artist, and previously appeared in ‘Breathless’ (2013) for ITV, in the web series ‘Shrink’, (2015) for Auteur Vision, and in an online commercial for McVities/BuzzFeed (2016). She is soon to appear in ‘A Thousand Blows’ for Disney+, airing in 2025.
