Kimberly Acosta
Kimberly Acosta is a writer and filmmaker drawn to nostalgic, character-driven stories about growing up. She gravitates toward intimate narratives that linger on quiet moments—stories about people caught between who they were and who they are becoming. She graduated from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde with a degree in Filmmaking, specializing in Screenwriting. Her thesis film, Ang Pagmamahal ni Layla De Jesus, was recognized as one of the Top 5 Capstone Films of the term and became an official finalist at the SINEPIYU XVIII: DIWA interschool competition, where it won awards for Best Production Design, Best Cinematography, and Best Direction. Beyond filmmaking, she has also worked in film marketing and taken on roles in various film projects as a script supervisor.
