Axel Quaranta

Axel Quaranta graduated from the Art School in Architecture and Environment, acquiring skills in AutoCAD. He then began his studies at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, where he developed technical skills in both Cinematography and Post-Production as an Editor, Colorist, and Sound Designer. He has directed five short films as both Author and Director and collaborated with other professionals as Cinematographer, Camera Operator, and Second Assistant Camera Operator. He has collaborated with private clients on Music Videos, social media promotion content, and Photo Shoots both on location and in the studio, as well as for Events and Demonstrations. He has thus acquired skills with the entire Adobe suite, especially development in Lightroom. He has developed knowledge of Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve for video editing and ProTools for sound editing. He has worked as a photographer, filmmaker, and theater assistant for Major Film Festivals such as "Unarchive Found Footage Fest" and "Villa Medici Festival Film." In May 2026 for the "NABA Rome Film Awards" event he received the award for "Best Short Film" and "Best Screenplay" for the short film "Ginevra" (2025). He has experience in drawing, painting, and digital drawing. For three years, he has been a member of the "Gender X" Association as an activist for the rights of young trans and non-binary people. For seven years, he has participated as a volunteer in the creation of floral sketches and paintings with the "Bottega Dell'infiorata" Association. For ten years, he has been a contemporary, high-heel, hip-hop, and modern dancer.
