Aurelio Rodríguez Méndez

Aurelio Rodríguez Méndez is an up-and-coming, Puerto Rican Film Director and Editor with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Cinematography from Atlantic University College. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Aurelio moved to the United States at the age of ten. It wasn’t until he took a filmmaking class in highschool that he began to consider filmmaking as not only a hobby but a possible career path. He decided that he should move back home to attend Atlantic University College. Little by little, he worked in as many film projects as possible to learn the filmmaking process. He participated in the university’s first Film Boot Camp in 2018, wherein he was able to direct various short films and gain directorial experience. He is currently working as an editor, sound designer, colorist and makes up one fifth of The Other Group, an independent production company composed of his fellow students from film school.
