Khaliun Amarburen

Khaliun "Haluna" Amarburen is a Mongolian-American actress. She is best known for her performances in the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series Pluribus and ABC/Hulu series Alaska Daily. Khaliun is the granddaughter of the acclaimed Primadonna of Mongolian Opera, Zagdsuren Ayush and daughter of actor and Opera Singer Amaraa Sanjid. Khaliun grew up in Arlington, VA where she performed at Signature Theatre. She attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA as a Posse Scholar on a merit-leadership based scholarship where she majored in International Studies and minored in Film Studies. She is fluent in English and Mongolian and conversational in Mandarin and Spanish.
