Fran Expósito

Fran Expósito (Seville, 2003) is a director, screenwriter, and actor. He trained with leading figures in the performing arts such as Pedro Casablanc, Esperanza Guardado, Susam Galiano, Pablo Berger, Montxo Armendáriz, Lidia Maria Jaime, and Juanma López, among others. His acting debut came with "Crudo", the debut film by Córdoba-born director Rafael Martínez Calle, which won an award at the 25th Málaga Spanish Film Festival. At 19, he began his career as а film director, specializing at the Madrid Film Institute with producer Eduardo Cardoso. That same year, he continued his training at the Treintaycinco Milímetros Audiovisual School after receiving a national scholarship from Cayetana Guillén Cuervo and Octavi Pujades. In 2023, he directed his first short film, "Olivia", which achieved great international Success festivals in Spain, Mexico, Argentina, India, and Italy. Later, he stars in and writes "Misión Secreta", directed by Pedro Verdún, which holds numerous awards and titles such as Best Andalusian LGTBIQ+ Short Film 2025.
