Rafael Seminario Quiroga
Rafael Seminario Quiroga (Lima, 1930), an animation director and cartoonist, experimented with his early animations in the 1940s and went on to produce many others. Among his best-known works are "Sorpresas Limeñas" (1957) and "El lápiz mágico de Rafael Seminario," both premiered in Lima and received great acclaim from the media of the time, marking the beginning of animation in Peru.
