Hao Jiayue

Hao Jiayue (born 1995) is a Chinese cinematographer and filmmaker. A graduate of the Beijing Film Academy, she has worked on a range of films and shorts, gaining international recognition for her visual craft. Her work on A Song Sung Blue earned her the Asia Pacific Screen Award for Best Cinematography in 2023, highlighting her distinctive storytelling through image and light. Jiayue continues to establish herself as a rising talent behind the camera in contemporary Chinese cinema.
