Michael Hook

Michael Hook is a 20 year old filmmaker from Scottsdale Arizona. Specializing in producing, directing, AD department, writing, and sound. From a young age he has been fascinated by the creative arts, including theatre, illustration, animation, and filmmaking. Michael had first become interested in filmmaking after watching Back to the Future in his youth. This inspired him to make short movies which friends and family would star in. In 2017, Michael had begun doing a summer camp program at Phoenix Film Festival where his love for filmmaking blossomed. He continued on with the program until 2021. After, Michael was motivated to make a career out of filmmaking, leading him to write his directorial debut "The Follower". Michael is now currently a student at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida specializing in narrative filmmaking.
