Tomáš Rosický is a Czech former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He was born on October 4, 1980, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He began his professional career with Sparta Prague before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2001, where he won the Bundesliga title in the 2001–02 season. In 2006, he signed for Arsenal, where he made over 200 appearances and won the FA Cup in the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. At international level, Rosický represented the Czech Republic, earning over 100 caps and captaining the national team. He participated in multiple UEFA European Championships and FIFA World Cup tournaments.
