Giulia Di Maggio

Giulia Di Maggio (Palermo, 1995) graduated in Communication and Entertainment from the University of Pisa and worked as an assistant director on several films, including RE GRANCHIO by Alessio Rigo De Righi and Matteo Zoppis. In 2022, she graduated from the CSC in Palermo with the film UNA VOLTA ANCORA, selected by international festivals such as Vision du Réel and winner of numerous awards, including the New Talents Award at Visioni dal Mondo and Best Film at Lago Film Fest. In 2023, Giulia directed LE FENNE, which had its world premiere at ZINEBI 65 and its Italian premiere at TFF, where it won the Special Jury Prize. Giulia is currently developing LE DUE MADRI, her first feature-length documentary, selected by the development programs of Ids Academy 2023, DocCelerator 2024, and Itineranze DOC 2024.
