Akasati

Annie 'Akasati' McAuley is a Buddhist and mindfulness teacher. She completed ordination training in Buddhist philosophy and practice in 1999, at which time she was given her Buddhist name 'Akasati'. Since then she has regularly led meditation courses and retreats, initially within a Buddhist context and more recently leading secular mindfulness and compassion courses. She has been practising mindfulness and meditation for over 35 years.
