Arrested and imprisoned in Bulgaria from May 12th to September 18th, 2010 for publishing material on the internet and soliciting men for his films. "On September 13th at 8 p.m. I was released from prison in Plowdiw, a compound infested with rats, vermin, filth, diseases, gratuitous violence, madness ... cells with 10 to 20 persons occasionally. I was transferred to another unit, a 20 square meter shack, which was locked from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. It had neither toilettes nor water, 40°C and no fresh air except through a small window ... you had to piss in a bottle. As I have a phobia of animals I spend the night killing cockroaches, which came to bite me, to suck my blood on my white sheets (which I had to get delivered to me because the prison does not give any) ... The Bulgarian police/justice thus far considers that when an actor is in front of a camera performing a sexual act, even if paid for by contract, that director is a pimp and also guilty of incitement to sodomy, which could lead to 8 years in prison ... this can happen to any director ... the site jnrc.fr was the center of the accusation though it was owned by Studio Presse, they did never accept that fact."
