Anna König

Anna König (born January 25, 1980, in Kandel, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a German actress, voice-over artist, and blogger. Beginning in 2001, she studied acting at the Zurich University of Music and Theatre, graduating in 2005. During this time, she was a scholarship recipient of the Zurich Theatre Association as well as a member of the ensemble at the Theater an der Sihl. In 2004, she received the Acting Advancement Award from the Armin Ziegler Foundation. This was followed by engagements at various theaters, including the Schauspielhaus Zürich, the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Theater Freiburg, and the Grillo-Theater Essen. She made her film debut in 2009 in the television movie *Sterne über dem Eis*. She gained wider recognition through leading roles in *Das Floß!*, *5 Frauen*, and *Die Hannas*. For her performances in *Die Hannas* and *5 Frauen*, she was nominated for the New German Cinema Award at the Munich Film Festival in 2016 and was honored as Best Actress at the Achtung Berlin Film Festival. She took on further roles in the Netflix series *Dark*, the ZDF television film *Chaos-Queens – Lügen, die von Herzen kommen*, and *Katie Fforde: Das Kind der Anderen*. Alongside her acting career, she also works as an intimacy coordinator.
