Joost Eerdmans

Bernard Johannes (Joost) Eerdmans (Harderwijk, January 9, 1971) is a Dutch politician, administrator, and presenter. Eerdmans began his political career with the Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF), for which he entered the House of Representatives in 2002. In 2004, he split from the LPF but retained his seat until the 2006 elections. After his time as a Member of Parliament, he served as an alderman in Capelle aan den IJssel and Rotterdam, successively, between 2009 and 2018. Subsequently, from 2018, he was the party leader of Leefbaar Rotterdam in the municipal council. In 2020, Eerdmans founded the party JA21 together with Annabel Nanninga, for which he has been a member of the House of Representatives again since 2021.
