Ethel Owen (née Ethel Marguerite Waite; March 30, 1893 – February 16, 1997) was an American actress with a lengthy career on stage as well as radio and television. In her early sixties, during the mid-1950s, she had a memorable recurring TV role on The Honeymooners, playing Mrs. Gibson, Ralph Kramden's sharp-tongued, interloping mother-in-law. Born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was an actress, known for Robert Montgomery Presents (1950), Kraft Theatre (1947) and Inner Sanctum (1954). She was married to John Hale Almy and Dr. Raymond Gilbert Owens. She died at 103 years of age on February 16, 1997 in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
